Bursting with charm, Hinterglemm attracts ski fans in winter and mountain bikers and hikers in summer. Middle of August, when the nights got unbearable hot in Vienna, I got a last-minute deal for Alpine Palace Hinterglemm Hotel.

Overview
I love hotels that have a sense of style – something spectacular or distinctive contemporary design. And Alpine Palace Hinterglemm sure does! The hotel has got stylish huge rooms, a beautifully designed lobby, a great restaurant and a sublime spa. Attention to detail is impressive!

Rooms & Suites
I enjoyed the huge Junior Suite, which reflected a sophisticated style and relaxed elegance. It featured a large marble bath with bubble jet tub and dark wood designer furnishings. What more could you ask for?

Wellness & Spa
Eager to go for a swim, we put our bathrobes and slippers on and went down to the New Balance Alpine Spa. The modern and sleek interior of the Spa at Alpine Palace Hinterglemm boasts 2,000 sq m and is the perfect retreat for the ones who want to get pampered. There are 2 pools, an indoor one and an outdoor one with salt-water. The outdoor pool is great since you actually feel like swimming in the valley!

Wining & Dining
Blending rustic charm with modern luxury, the themed restaurants and cosy lounges offer a great dining experience. Arte Vinum, the award-winning restaurant at Alpine Palace Hinterglemm, is a top address for gourmets.

Alpine Palace Hinterglemm is all about thoughtful service, relaxation and great food. The real catch of the hotel comes if you go in winter: you can literally ski in and out as the hotel is located at the foot of the Reiterkogel, with direct access to the Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn ski resort.
