The family friendly mountain resort Ramsau am Dachstein has it all: the luxury, the ski vibes, and the après scene – whatever you need for the perfect vacation. This area attracts winter sports lovers from all over the world wanting to tackle the challenging ski runs and cross-country ski trails. So there’s no surprise that there are plenty of accommodation options available to those looking to splash the cash and indulge. Choices range from the serene to the spectacular. But if you’re looking for something cozy, with a home away from home feeling, Rittis Alpin Chalets are a premier pick!
Opened in winter 2016/2017, Rittis Alpin Chalets have been beautifully designed with a careful consideration for local architecture and authentic Alpine furnishings. A modern wood exterior & interior combined with an enviable location makes this one of Dachstein’s most sought after properties.

Sweet Dreams
With custom-made wood furniture, beautiful parquet floors, and design lighting, these chalets have a real ‘wow’ factor. You can take your pick from an array of accommodations, but no matter which you choose, you’ll be in for a cozy stay: apartments, double rooms, family suites, and a penthouse suite – 116 sq m of pure luxury. Best part? The air smells of fresh pine and crackling fires.
GOOD TO KNOW: all apartments boast a 4 square meter private sauna. Guests staying in a double room can enjoy breakfast for free. And your four-legged friend is welcome at Rittis Alpin Chalets.

Stylish furnishings and subtle lighting create a wonderful ambiance in the living and dining area, while a charming fireplace and comfy sofas complete the room. Floor to ceiling windows open out onto the balcony with a view of the snow-covered mountain peaks.
What’s it like to stay in a wooden chalet? After an exhilarating day on the slopes, curl up with a cup of cocoa by the fireplace. If all this isn’t enough, enter your private sauna and just relax!

Breakfast & SPA
Make sure to bring your appetite because Rittis Alpin Chalets offer a delicious breakfast: regional cheeses, several creams, yummy pastries and other cereal-based products, plus BIO-juices and freshly brewed coffee await you here.
Please note that they serve only breakfast, but the reception staff will be happy to recommend several nice places for lunch (Die Tischlerei in Schladming or the Glacier Restaurant) and dinner (Alpengasthof Peter Rosegger, Zirbenstube – traditional Styrian menu with a twist). The area is a great marriage of Austrian cuisine and superb skiing.
And if you’re craving a massage, then head right to the SPA! The 150 sq m spa & gym features state-of-the-art fitness equipment (Precor) as well as massages, a sauna, a relaxation room, an open fireplace, and a vitamin snack bar.
To Dos While You’Re Here
Until recently, I’d exclusively been a downhill skier. But Ramsau am Dachstein, a heaven for cross-country skiing, made me change my mind… Moreover, the Rittis Alpin Chalets are located directly next to the Tritscherhöheloipe cross-country skiing trail. And it goes without saying that cross-country skiing is an awesome workout – it can be very exhausting, but it’s worth a try! So rent some fancy boots & skis and hit the tracks in style! Be sure to book a private instructor (1 hour/55 Euro).

There are lots of activities and sports that can be done in the region during the snowy season, and Glacier skiing is extremely tempting! The Dachstein Glacier (2,700 meters) – the highest mountain in Styria – boasts a legendary natural scenery and panoramic views.

Last but not least, Rittisberg in Ramsau am Dachstein is THE adventure mountain playground in the Schladming-Dachstein region and offers families with kids an unlimited range of attractions and activities.
BOTTOM LINE: whether you’re in the mood for winter sports or a peaceful hideaway, the Rittis Alpin Chalets will have you covered. So book your chalet early because they book up fast for the winter season! For online booking click here.
