There’s no denying it, the Dolomites – the UNESCO World Heritage-listed mountains that cap the northern area of Italy – are regarded as being among the most attractive mountain landscapes in the world. And there is good reason for this: their dramatic vertical and pale colored peaks are magnificent.

While the range of accommodation options in the Dolomites is large, the quality of wellness hotels is some of the best anywhere in the world. As a result, choosing where to stay can be a tough decision. But that’s where this post comes in handy. Let me introduce you to one of the most photogenic wellness hotels in the Dolomites – Alpin Panorama Hotel Hubertus, a proud member of Belvita Leading Wellnesshotels Südtirol.

Recently we had the absolute privilege and pleasure of staying for 4 nights at this unique wellness retreat in Valdaora, and left feeling more alive than when we arrived. This family-run hotel ticks all the right boxes when it comes to combining epic views, unique architecture and top-notch wellness experiences.
Wellness Vibes
The highlight of Alpin Panorama Hotel Hubertus is the majestic Sky Pool heated all-year round (33° C) which will make you feel as infinite as the gorgeous view that spreads right before your eyes. Welcome to Val Pusteria!

This wellness retreat is one of the best rejuvenation hotspots the Dolomites have to offer. It will heal not only your body and mind, but also your soul. For a deeper understanding, click the video below!
In addition, the hotel boasts a panoramic outdoor pool (33°C), an outdoor relaxation pool (37°C), a brine floatation pool (33°C) with salt water, an outdoor whirlpool (37°C) plus an indoor adventure pool (30°C). You’ll have no excuse not to feel ZEN.
Besides, the brand-new Heaven & Hell Sky Spa – a spectacular, free-floating steel platform with two floors, which is connected to the hotel’s relaxation lounge via a walkway – boasts three amazing whirlpools, two saunas, and an ice room. And there is ample seating space for simply hanging out both indoors and out.

Privacy, wellness, design and romance… What’s not to like? Not to mention the dreamy landscape.

To top it off, the expansive Alpenreych Spa offers cutting-edge treatments, with King Laurin packs, and Mukabhyanga plus Upanaha Sveda massages. Moreover, they offer special treatments for teenagers (Teenie Dream) and prenatal massages.
One of the best things about Hubertus is that you can have a wellness getaway, and never leave the hotel. So if you’re looking for the laziest vacation ever, this is the place!
Alpine Nights
Needless to say, all rooms and suites are spacious, bright and well-designed. Rest assured that whichever room you choose it will be tastefully decorated and fully equipped for a pampered stay. But if you want to go big, choose the Family Suite Fanes. It features 92 sq metres and can host up to 5 – 8 persons. These new panoramic suites with 2 separate bedrooms and 2 independent luxury bathrooms come with a wonderful terrace.

Bathrooms here are huge and modern, with a tub/or walk-in shower, high-end toiletries, and plush towels, robes, and slippers.

GOOD TO KNOW: Alpin Panorama Hotel Hubertus welcomes dogs for a 25,00 € pet fee per night. On top of that, your four-legged friend will receive a magic bag of treats. Our boy was completely mesmerized by his sofa bed featuring crisp linen sheets and goodies…

Gourmet Eats
The ultra tasty ¾ Wellness Board is included in the accommodation rates, and the restaurant serves an eclectic menu for breakfast and dinner. Plus there’s an afternoon buffet with a main dish, soup, antipasti to die for, fresh salads, cakes and fruits (available from 1pm to 5pm).
One thing is for sure – they serve gourmet food made with love. And a dessert that will certainly leave you happy.

WHAT WE LOVED: the excellent wine list (featuring Sassicaia 2019 from Tenuta San Guido, Bolgheri) plus the 5-course dinner menu with South Tyrolean delicacies.
To Dos While You’Re Here
With so much to do—the options for wellness all seem endless—it’s easy to forget that there’s a whole area to explore! And a stay in the Dolomites isn’t complete without a trip to Lago di Braies – a 25-minute drive away.
