With a first-class spa, a great steakhouse and super-chic rooms & suites boasting contemporary design, The Ritz-Carlton, Vienna is for the guests who like the elegant and graceful things in life. Located in the city center of Vienna, along the prestigious Ring Boulevard and adjacent to Stadtpark, this hotel has a lot of charm and class.

OVERVIEW
The real sell is the enchanting history behind the hotel. The original construction of The Ritz-Carlton, Vienna was four historic palaces which date back to the 19th century and were joined together.

One of the former palaces – Schubertring 5 – used to be the “Adels Casino” for the Viennese nobility and was built in 1866 and designed by the famous architect John Romano, who built 22 palaces around Ringstrasse. Bachelors were allowed to stay here overnight, so it was kind of a hotel already.
Original architectural details have been incorporated into the hotel design resulting in a wonderful combination of old-world charm and modern luxury.
ROOMS & SUITES
The Club Suite is large and contemporary, with an elegant living room, a huge dreamy bed and high-end amenities. The marble bathroom with separate tub and shower has plush towels and top quality toiletries. Okay, long story short: the overall effect is sophisticated and airy.

Given the attention to detail in every other aspect of my stay, I was hardly surprised to find that the The Ritz-Carlton Club Lounge maintained the same levels of excellence. It’s an oasis of elegance – warm cherry wood and soft colors give this area the very special club atmosphere. Here you can have breakfast, light snacks, hors d’ oeuvres, beverages and sweets.

WELLNESS & SPA
At The Ritz-Carlton Spa in Vienna you’ll experience the international luxury spa expertise and legendary service of The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company.

The nail technicians are hand-picked for their skill and knowledge, as well as their ability to make you feel extra special and ultra-relaxed! It’s an urban luxury retreat and the highlight of the Spa is the 18-m pool with underwater lighting and music.

WINING & DINING
At the heart of the hotel is the lobby lounge Melounge, the perfect spot for an afternoon tea or cocktail. Due to the golden ceiling frescos and unique ambiance this hotel area has been transformed into one of the most elegant coffee houses of Vienna.

If you plan to dine in the Dstrikt Steakhouse, the food on offer is a gastronomic delight. Everything from the wine lists to the great Austrian meat selection has been tailored to be top notch. Try the rib eye steak! It tastes super beefy, juicy, and flavorful.
You really don’t need to leave the hotel because everything you want and need is right at your fingertip. The D-bar, with a direct view of the Ring Boulevard, perfectly combines a relaxed atmosphere with the hustle and bustle of an international hotel. Most important: staff’s service is impeccable and politeness level 100.
Have you ever had the famous Ritz Cocktail? If not, it’s about time… Baron Otard Cognac, Grand Marnier, Lemon Juice, Spiced Orange Syrup and Champagne are the secret ingredients of this special cocktail. Cheers!
All in all, this is one of Vienna’s top luxury options, where you can expect bespoke services and moments of joie de vivre. The Ritz will always stay the Ritz!
