While many came here for hunting, riding, tennis, and swimming, he came here for the fantastic parties and the much sought-after contacts for getting into international business.
Coco Chanel was here and fell in love not only with the castle, but also with the elegant lord of Mittersill Castle, Baron Hubert von Pantz. This was also where she got the inspiration for one of her most famous creations, the CHANEL CLASSIC JACKET – the uniform of a lift attendant served as inspiration for her timeless piece of clothing.
