Tyrol has so many fabulous places to visit that it can be hard to choose a spot for your next winter family vacation. My suggestion would be to opt for the Sportresidenz Zillertal – one of the hottest places to stay!

Once I entered the Sportresidenz Zillertal, I knew I had made the right decision – it’s a stylish boutique hotel which offers a new level of luxury for travelers. It boosts a relaxed atmosphere & modern design.
I loved everything about this small & smart hotel! Sportresidenz Zillertal is the kind of hotel that makes you feel pampered and the hotel team is at your disposal around the clock to make your stay run smoothly.
ROOMS & SUITES
Our 73 sq m Penthouse Suite was big and light-filled, with huge windows, offering unobstructed views of the Zillertal valley.
The Penthouse Suite features a Private Spa with infrared cabin and a Finnish panoramic sauna, plus the wonderful large terrace. Check out the abundant use of wood and eco materials!
I love baths and to me taking a spa like bath in the Penthouse Suite was the epitome of relaxation …
WINING & DINING
The Restaurant “Genusswerkstatt” deserves all accolades! World class food & service! Breakfast is wellness oriented, with plenty of fresh fruits, vegetables and a wide choice of cereals and fresh dairy products – the golden yellow Zillertal butter is a hit!
The chef knows how to WOW his customers and is mixing local traditional ingredients with fusion cuisine. Thoughtful presentation, attractive plates… that’s what I adore!
The Bar & Wine Lounge was one of my favorite spots to relax and have an after-dinner cocktail. A special thanks goes out to the experienced bartender – there’s a fine art to pouring, mixing and serving memorable drinks!
WELLNESS & SPA
The Wellness area offers a Finnish Sauna, a Bio-Sauna, a wonderful Steam Bath, water beds, relaxation rooms & and quiet zones with panoramic views, a beautiful sun terrace and a hot outdoor pool. Once you dive into the alpine pool, you might not ever want to leave…
One special tip: try the Ligne St Barth Softness Treatment – a relaxing peeling massage for velvety smooth & balanced skin. Papaya fruit enzymes, natural yoghurt, coconut oil and a special sea-sand are the main ingredients of the exotic care products of Ligne St. Barth.
GOLF
The 18-hole championship course extends over 65 hectares. Due to its location at an altitude of 550m and the broadness of the valley, you can play here between April and October. In winter you can use the indoor golf simulator. We’re not pro golfers but had a lot of fun!
VIP SHUTTLE
A great service offered by the hotel: the VIP-Shuttle which you can book in advance – a gorgeous BMW X5 with private chauffeur will bring you to town, or directly to the ski-lift station. Well, no wonder … premium brands always partner up to offer the most luxurious experiences!
SKIING & SNOWBOARDING
If you’re a winter sports fan than you can choose from several wonderful snow parks – and please don’t miss the Hintertux Glacier which offers 60 piste kilometers with all difficulty levels. Should be on every skier’s bucket list!
Whether you’re looking for a ski vacation, a golf course or wellness retreat, Sportresidenz Zillertal offers unique experiences. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here, it’s a truly special place which I highly recommend to anyone in need of a stylish & exclusive getaway!
