How about having a romantic stay in a luxurious music themed hotel you won’t want to leave? From my first glance at the striking Aria Hotel Budapest by Library Hotel Collection, I sensed grandeur and refinement, a feeling that continued as the hotel amenities and activities unfurled throughout my stay.
What’s so unique about the Aria Hotel Budapest? As the name suggests, music is the motif here. The former 19th-century bank building has been transformed into a 5-star boutique hotel, where each of the four wings celebrates a different major music genre: Classical, Opera, Contemporary and Jazz.

So it’s easy to see what makes this hotel interesting: design, history, and architecture. The centrepiece of the Music Garden Courtyard is a glamorous piano designed by the Hungarian musician Gergely Bogányi.

Rooms & Suites
The Library Hotel Collection invested nearly 50 million dollars to create an extraordinary musically inspired experience. Each of the 49 guest rooms and suites honor one of the world’s great musical legends from Tchaikovsky to Ella Fitzgerald and from Rachmaninoff to the Rolling Stones.
Upon entering the Aria Signature Room in the Jazz Wing, I was surprised to hear music playing… “Strangers in the Night”. It was the Frank Sinatra themed room, and I was surrounded by state of the art technology complemented by modern amenities.

Aria Hotel guests have access to a library of books, CDs, DVDs to enjoy privately in their room via iPads and 55” flat screen televisions elegantly presented within a marble fireplace-style mantelpiece.

Wellness & Spa
The Harmony Spa is an intimate & well-designed relax area where guests can indulge in the pool or try musically inspired massages and body treatments. Features include a lounge space, a Swedish sauna, an infrared sauna, a steam bath, an indoor pool, a Jacuzzi, three private cabanas, a fitness center with cardio, and three private treatment rooms including one treatment room for couples.

If you’re a Spa addict & Jazz lover, be sure to choose the JAZZY – Detoxifying Downbeat Package. The aromatherapy massage, floral body scrub and green tea body wrap are beyond perfect.

Delicious Eats
Guests of the Aria Hotel Budapest can enjoy a complimentary buffet breakfast served in the Music Garden Courtyard plus a complimentary afternoon wine & cheese reception.

For casually sophisticated bistro-style dining, Stradivari Restaurant is inspired by the exquisite beauty and perfect quality of the violin. Guests are invited to experience a sense of privacy and elegance here.

Last but not last, the jewel of the Aria Hotel is the popular High Note SkyBar, the only year-round, indoor outdoor roof top in Budapest, offering unparalleled 360-degree views of the city. In addition to this, the Hungarian red wines on offer are a treat for the taste buds! Moreover, with a staff meeting your every need, quality time is easy to come by.

To Dos While You’Re Here
Located in the historic city center on the Pest side of the Danube river, Aria Hotel is situated beside the famous St. Stephen’s Basilica. So take a walk to the city’s opera house, parliament building and Széchenyi Chain Bridge – at night the city looks like a sparkling jewel on the Danube!
This is not a fairy tale – it’s real!
Due to its “Service is Marketing” philosophy, this hotel is a paradise for music lovers. There are plenty of options for a remarkable stay in Budapest but Aria Hotel is the perfect choice for those looking for refined luxury.
Thank you to Aria Hotel Budapest for welcoming Expat Trip! All opinions, as always, are my own.
